Vista Alegre expands its collections into new areas, reinforcing its links to design, art and culture, and continuing its involvement in social responsibility projects.

Launched in partnership with Brazilian NGO Ecoarts Amazônia, the popular Amazōnia collection continues to grow. The three new decorative pieces, the joint work of the painters of Vista Alegre’s Manufacturing team, and the women of the Kayapo tribe continue drawing attention to the cultural, social and environmental heritage of the world’s largest rainforest, with part of the collection’s revenue reverting to the reforestation of the Mato Grosso area, where Ecoarts operates.

Vista Alegre also marks its entry into the Home Decor segment with the Duality and Ivory collections, which transcend the concepts of tableware and gifts and fit directly into the sophisticated universe of home decor. A logical and desirable complement to the brand’s offer. As regards collaborations with renowned artists, Marcel Wanders offers a new variation of his Blue Ming collection, while Vortex by Ross Lovegrove represents a genuine challenge to porcelain production. Two Vista Alegre projects that reveal its proximity to the best in contemporary design.

2020 will also be marked by the partnership with the global fashion icon, Claudia Schiffer. Three new pieces make up the celebrated Única collection and build a bridge between the worlds of fashion and interior design.

NEW for 2019

Vista Alegre continues to showcase its creative drive and capacity to innovate Through surprising collections, new partnerships and unique projects, which include, in 2019, an important component of social responsibility.

New collections, new partnerships and the continuation of popular lines, always characterized by their originality and ability to surprise, stand out in Vista Alegre’s new releases for 2019. After winning 43 international prizes between 2017 and 2018, the brand will continue to meet the highest expectations of both the general public and specialists, affirming its indisputable position as a worldwide reference in design.

Among the various highlights are the new lamp models, designed by Ross Lovegrove, Jo Sampson and VA Studio. The surprising Unica collection unveils new pieces and, in collaboration with Christian Lacroix Maison, Vista Alegre has developed Herbariae, which reflects the renewed vigour of the partnership between the two brands. Through a partnership with the prestigious brand Boca do Lobo, Vista Alegre also enters the exclusive furniture segment with the Once Upon a Time…cabinet, a numbered piece, limited to eight examples.

This is also a very important year for Vista Alegre in the area of social responsibility, thanks to a partnership with Ecoarts Amazônia, a Brazilian NGO that operates in the state of Mato Grosso. For each piece of the Amazōnia collection sold, a tree will be planted as part of a community and environmental project. Also in this area, the Endangered series was developed in partnership with institutions for the protection of endangered species, showing the brand’s commitment to preserving biodiversity.

NEW for 2018

The innovative design, the sophistication of materials and the high quality hand craftsmanship of the new Vista Alegre products will amaze you.

In a year Vista Alegre was honored with 17 international design awards, by such prestigious organizations as the Red Dot Design Award, the German Design Awards, awarded by the German Design Council and, for the first time, the Icon Awards, the brand continued to assert its position at the forefront of porcelain and crystal manufacture. This recognition parallels the international projection of the brand, which is present in an ever-increasing number of markets and consistently engages in collaborations with renowned creators. Among these, Jaime Hayon, Marcel Wanders and Christian Lacroix Maison are just a few examples.

One of the great surprises for the year 2018 is the collection of contemporary
lamps developed in partnership with English designer Ross Lovegrove, another global reference to associate with Vista Alegre. This partnership aims to explore the translucency and textures of porcelain, enhancing both brightness and aesthetics in modern interior decoration. Simultaneously, the brand created two new lamps in more classic lines, and will relaunch its emblematic Coluna lamp. The collaboration with designers Mendel Heit and Pablo Andujar also resulted in innovative lighting proposals.
