New collections, new partnerships and the continuation of popular lines, always characterized by their originality and ability to surprise, stand out in Vista Alegre’s new releases for 2019. After winning 43 international prizes between 2017 and 2018, the brand will continue to meet the highest expectations of both the general public and specialists, affirming its indisputable position as a worldwide reference in design.
Among the various highlights are the new lamp models, designed by Ross Lovegrove, Jo Sampson and VA Studio. The surprising Unica collection unveils new pieces and, in collaboration with Christian Lacroix Maison, Vista Alegre has developed Herbariae, which reflects the renewed vigour of the partnership between the two brands. Through a partnership with the prestigious brand Boca do Lobo, Vista Alegre also enters the exclusive furniture segment with the Once Upon a Time…cabinet, a numbered piece, limited to eight examples.
This is also a very important year for Vista Alegre in the area of social responsibility, thanks to a partnership with Ecoarts Amazônia, a Brazilian NGO that operates in the state of Mato Grosso. For each piece of the Amazōnia collection sold, a tree will be planted as part of a community and environmental project. Also in this area, the Endangered series was developed in partnership with institutions for the protection of endangered species, showing the brand’s commitment to preserving biodiversity.
